Beloved Friends and Devotees of Sri BKS Iyengar,
Hari OM! On behalf of Satchidananda Ashram — Yogaville and Integral Yoga International, I am writing to express our deepest condolences at the passing of your revered teacher, Sri BKS Iyengar.Sri BKS Iyengar was one of the great Yoga masters of our time. His life was dedicated to the welfare of all humanity. For over five decades, he served as an inspiration and guide for the global Yoga community. The precision of his teaching and his lifelong example of the power of Yoga are known to one and all.The seeds that he planted will continue to spread through the teaching and service of those who studied with him and bore witness to his Light. We pray that all those dedicated efforts will continue to promote health, wellbeing and spiritual awakening for Yoga practitioners for generations to come.We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family members, students and friends. The prayers of our community are with you at this time of passage.
May his illumined soul continue to shower blessings upon one and all.
