Nalanie H. Chellaram is a spiritual teacher dedicated to selfless service. She was born in 1954 into the distinguished Indian family the Harilela’s. Nalanie is Chairwoman of the Integral Yoga Centre Gibraltar and founder of "Service in Satchidananda", a non-profit international collection of charities established in honor of Sri Swami Satchidananda and based on his core teaching of selfless service. IY Gibraltar Centre opened in 1998, all teachers donate their time and all classes by donation.

Lakshmi - Lilian Shaw, vice chairwoman of the centre, dedicates her time to the daily running of the centre, along with a great team of volunteers.

The centre is a registered charity, after covering all running costs of the Centre, every penny is used to serve others.
